From the shadowed resting place, its wings unfolded, and the waters beneath Morzeka became disturbed by the passing of a writhing, ravenous creature. A grotesque crack wailed through the dark of the sewer as horns withdrew into the skull of the creature, while its wings split apart into eight lengthy and chitinous limbs, cracking and twisting as they formed what appeared to be an imitation of spider-like legs. Morzeka propelled itself through the sewer waters with its tentacles, navigating the labyrinth-like corridors seemingly blind yet with direction. Where Morzeka was headed was unknown, but instincts guided it with a rapacious hunger.
The surge of rushing water drove away the silence in the distance, while the sewage passing beneath Morzeka’s hanging body kept still and without disturbance. Morzeka appeared to be nine feet tall, cocooned by a pair of bat-like wings spanning twenty feet in length. Within his/her slumbering state hid a soft, pale skin, and a faceless head with four horns protruding from where the forehead is presumed. Its four, limp arms curled around its body, keeping sheltered in a sense of isolation. It currently possessed no other limbs - only a dozen thirteen foot tentacles that fell from its waist, the tips grazing the water beneath. What Morzeka was hanging from appeared to be crimson, and almost chitinous webbing that stretched from its shoulders and neck. With a head hanging low, Morzeka appeared to be in an idle state. Morzeka was not always alone, however, as other denizens of the subterranean kept close on occasion, such as Doctor Connor’s other side: The Lizard. The sewers of New York held up to its reputation of ‘suitable lair’, nonetheless, as Morzeka’s sense of telepathy would notify it of any nearby interests.
